Isaiah 43:25 I, even I, am he who blots out your transgressions, for my own sake, and remembers your sins no more.
Again, a reminder of our forgiven souls. God is ready to forgive, has always been ready to forgive. But Jesus literally brought this knowledge home to us. We are forgiven. We need only ask Jesus to dwell in us. I still find myself feeling apart from God after messing up- being snappish, judgmental or eating way too much ice cream. My first guilty thoughts are: “I am not worthy of God’s attention. I have no self-control. I automatically sin.“ Sin is separation from God, for real. And we don’t need to experience that ever again. Jesus is forgiveness.
Heavenly Father, Thank you for loving me, and for being patient with me. Amen

Isaiah 43:25. I, even I, am he who blots out your transgressions, for my own sake and remember your sins no more. Depending upon which translation you read, the important word is blot out, or wipe out. This is a permanent removal of God’s memory of your sin. This is true forgiveness. Yesterday Paul reminded us that Jesus offered the same thing. Belonging to Christ makes you new. All the old sins are gone and forgiven. What a gift of grace! Prayer: Gracious God help me believe that my past sins are forgotten and forgiven. Keep me from guilt and keep me looking forward. Amen
Isaiah 43:25
I, even I , am he who blots out your transgressions, for my own sake and remembers your sins no more
How temping it is to remind someone of their past mistakes and or sins. When God forgives our sins he does not remember them. We never have to fear that he will remind us of them later. Because God forgives my sin, I need to forgive others. I used to hope that everything that was wrong or inappropriate in what I ever said or did could be forgotten. This is what God promises to do with the sin we confess to Him when asking for His forgiveness. He expresses this truth in Isaiah 43:25 .. It’s importa…

25 “I, even I, am he who blots out
your transgressions, for my own sake,
and remembers your sins no more.
God said He will not remember our sins anymore. He just wants everyone to come back and trust Him who He is the one who forgives our sins through Jesus Christ. We need to know who can forgive our sins and give us true freedom, which is the Good News of Jesus Christ. We would go to the person who has the authority to forgive us if we made a mistake and need to ask forgiveness. We need to know who can forgive our sins and give us freedom.
God said…
Isaiah 43: 25 “I, even I, am he who blots out your transgressions, for my own sake, and remembers your sins no more.”
I think about this verse and how it pertains to me and my journey. It gives me hope and comfort. I may remember the sins of my past, but God doesn’t. He forgives me my sins. I may remember them and learn from them, but they are forgotten in God’s eyes. This gift of grace from God is so great and one I cherish always. To be forgiven with no backlash from God. Sometimes it is difficult to understand, but wonderful to know.
Dearest Lord thank you for the grace of forgiveness. No matter how many times…
Isaiah 43:25
If we accept the blame for our sins and turn away from them (repentance), God will remove the guilt (forgiveness). As Dave pointed out, it is when our conscience tells us we have sinned that we know the Holy Spirit dwells in us. The person without God regrets sin when they get caught. The believer regrets sin because it is an affront to God. One is forgiven, the other must repent or is condemned. God has instilled in us the free will to make that choice.
Prayer - God of forgiveness, I am thankful for this indescribable gift. Please guide my thoughts away from sins of the past and guide my actions away from the potential of sins…
