Deuteronomy 29:29
The secret things belong to the Lord our God, but the things revealed belong to us and to our children forever, that we may follow all the words of this law.
Many mysteries will likely remain mysteries to us. But God does choose to let us in on many important truths. I need to accept the reality of being unclear on so many “why?”s. But I do know that we are encouraged to study and understand scripture. Jesus taught his followers using scriptural references. The truths we can find in scripture are ours to keep, to pass on to others, and to give us hope.
Holy Lord, thank you for all you have shared of your truths. I pray that you allow me to learn and understand even more. I long to know you better, and to be closer to you. Amen

God reveals to us what we need to know. We should be studying his word and should always be looking for direction that he reveals. What God doesn’t reveal is not for us to know or question.
Dear Lord, forgive me if I ask why question you’re will. Please guide me and direct me to what You would have me know. Amen
Deuteronomy 29:29
What we do know, what has been reveled to us is so wonderful and important, we need not worry about what we don't know or understand. We have been given all the knowledge we need to live lives of Love, hope, and service.
Prayer: Gracious God, You have given me so much. May I always treasure what you've taught me. AMEM

This is truly an awesome verse. I just think about what this verse is saying, because this is really two amazing, awesome, mind-blowing truths. One, the secret things belong to the Lord, our God. And two, the things that are revealed, belong to us and to our children forever, that we may do all the words of this law. So do I get the picture, God has revealed His law, his word to us, to his people. And this is such a gift. The fact…
Deuteronomy 29:29
I do not think the secret things and the things revealed remain static over our lifetime. God reveals to each of us what is best for us individually at a time when it is most needed or can be understood. There will always be mystery in our finite minds, but one of the important tasks on the road to sanctification is keeping our hearts and minds open to the things revealed by God along the way. Katie made reference to a “road map” in an earlier post. The things revealed over time are the signs on that road.
Prayer - God of mysteries, I try to watch and listen for the things You would reveal to me. I…
