John 3:16
”For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.”
When I accept Jesus as my Savior, as the Son of God, my life changes forever. It is as if things fall into a new perspective. My life and troubles on earth become smaller, and my outlook and eternity become much larger. It is a new life, different than a life without God. From time to time, I need to relearn this, and each time, I am born anew.
Holy Father, you are constant, I am like a wavering piece of fuzz. But I know you are with me, and I believe in your promises. Hold me close, please. Amen

John 3:16
John 3:16 is perhaps the most recognized scripture of the entire Bible, because it represents a simple summary of a profound truth. God loves the world, including people such as you and me. He wanted to save the world so desperately that He became part of the world in the form of a man -- Jesus Christ. This verse guides us to finding peace, comfort, and hope. It reminds us that there is an eternal glory awaiting us beyond this life of confusion and disagreements. It is an important verse because we are reassured of a God who loves us so much that he would sacrifice even his beloved Son so that we could have life. It …
John 3:16
This was the first Bible verse that I and likely countless millions of children learned. It Is likely the most widely recognized Bible verse as well. I was once taught a mature Christian should be able to explain the Gospel in less than a minute. This verse does half the work in ten seconds. It only needs to be preceded by the reason our loving God did this.
Prayer - God of salvation, the only way to thank You for the sacrificial gift of salvation and eternal life is to commit to follow Jesus, the One who sacrificed for us. The prince of this world may try to tempt us otherwise, but we have the Holy Spirit…
John 3: 16 For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.
God’s love is so great that He gave us his Son to free us from sin. I can’t imagine a love so great that you would give up your children freely, knowing that they would die. Yet, God did this for us in order for us to be born to a life of grace and love. A love like this is difficult to understand but freely accepted by all who believe in Jesus Christ.
Dearest Lord, thank you for the love you bestow on us. It is unimaginable, but fully accepted.…
