April 6 Fifth Sunday in Lent

Sermon Title: “Successful Failure”

Sermon Text: John 12: 1-8

Theme: A contrast of what the culture considers success as opposed to what Jesus considers success, which is the path of love and what is best for all.

April 13 Passion/Palm Sunday Procession of the Palms

Sermon Text: Matthew 21: 1-11, Isaiah 40: 1-6

Sermon Title: “The Master Needs Your Donkey”

Theme: We are to give to Jesus whatever resources, time or talents he requests in order to carry out his work of reconciliation in this world.

April 17 Holy Thursday – 7 PM

Theme: "Jesus Walked This Lonesome Valley: A Contemporary Tenebrae Service” on Jesus’ last evening with his disciples, including the Last Supper.

April 18 Good Friday

8 AM to 6 PM - Meditation material will be available on the entrance table of the church for persons wishing to come in for meditation and prayer.

7 PM Worship Theme: “Were You There When They Crucified my Lord? Scripture readings will be from the time of the preparation of the Passover and the crowds crying “crucify him” through Christ’s crucifixion and his burial.

April 20 Easter Sunday A Celebration of the Resurrection of Jesus Christ

6 AM – Sunrise Service at Putney Hill Farm, 155 Putney Hill Road, Hopkinton, NH led by The Rev. Gordon Crouch, Pastor of First Congregational Church. Mark and Jackie Stock are erecting the Cross for the Service.

10 AM Worship, Sermon Title: "He Lives"

Sermon Text: John 20: 1-18

Theme: Jesus arose from the grave. It was not finished for him! He is risen, active in all of life, bringing hope and joy amid all our circumstances.

April 25 Fourth Friday Fellowship, 6PM

Share a meal (no cost) Families are welcome, singles are welcome, ALL are welcomed!
